This is sick. I live in South Florida but unless I’ve been missing something or am not close enough to Miami there is no equivalent down here.

incredible that at about 9:20 in the first one they have that house-ball clip – is that super unique sample (daa da-da da-da da-dat!) cropping up outside of the ball/vogueing circles? or maybe the djs gay? or just open to it…

Mambo is definitely making iwaves in Puerto Rican dancehalls. I had some long conversations with my brother recently about whats happening in Perreo these days on the island and he put me on to mambo jams from Jowell y Randy, Archangel and I’m pretty sure somewhere in my hard drive a tego mambo refix or two. If I come across it this week I’ll come back with some titles for ya.
