im just responding to point out that if you read my responses, or Wayne's you'll note that out of all we said, we were only quoted in a sentence or two-- i was being generous w/ my time by writing all i did knowing full well that each interview gets ultracompacted. if you want to know more about various questions above, feel free to pose questions or ask for clarification here in the comments, instead of wasting our time.

 the only question i didnt delve into was the one emphasizing the 'exotic', 'dangerous' aspects of my global travels, which i  downplayed quite consciously, and with good reason.
